Dr. Cresswell is a licensed psychologist in California and joined Neuroscience Associates in 1984. Dr. Cresswell’s practice specialty areas include forensic psychodiagnostic evaluations of adults and adolescents reporting emotional distress associated with traumatic events/accidents, acute/chronic medical illness, child abuse, sexual assault, sexual harassment and wrongful termination. Over her 40-year career, Dr. Cresswell has been retained equally in plaintiff and defense personal injury cases.
Dr. Cresswell held the title of Volunteer Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Biobehavioral Sciences, at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, from 1982 until retiring in 2023. In this capacity, Dr. Cresswell supervised predoctoral psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows; and provided pro bono psychotherapy services to UCLA medical residents through the UCLA Mental Health Services for Physicians-in-Training Program. Dr. Cresswell maintained a full-time clinical psychotherapy practice for over 40 years, until retiring in 2022.
