Jeffrey Schaeffer, Ph.D ABPP-CN

Dr. Schaeffer is the Founding Director and President of Neuroscience Associates, having established the practice in 1980. He is licensed in California and Hawaii and is Board Certified in Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP-CN). His practice specialty areas include medical neuropsychology, traumatic brain injury, neurotoxicology and geriatrics. He has testified in trial over 400 times in state and federal courts across the US and in the commonwealth of Canada (British Columbia). He is retained equally on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants with occasional agreed exams. 

Dr. Schaeffer held the title of Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and also was the Senior Clinical Supervisor at the Medical Psychology Assessment Center at the UCLA Semel Institute and Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital. In these capacities, he helped train UCLA’s neuropsychology fellows and interns, as well as psychiatry and neurology house staff for over 40 years.
