
Yuri Rassovsky, Ph.D

Dr. Rassovsky is licensed in California and is Board Certified in Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP-CN). Dr. Rassovsky has earned his undergraduate degrees in psychology and philosophy at the University of California, Los Angeles, and subsequently attained a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Minnesota. He then completed post-doctoral fellowships in neuropsychology and neuroimaging at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital, funded by the NIMH Training Grant. Dr. Rassovsky is actively involved in research focusing on neurocognition, social cognition, and functional outcome in schizophrenia and brain injury, as well as cognitive rehabilitation through electrical brain stimulation and physical activity. His research has been funded by a Young Investigator Award from the National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression, the NARSAD Independent Investigator Award, and NIMH. Dr. Rassovsky has a joint affiliation at UCLA and Bar-Ilan University. He is a Full Professor at Bar-Ilan University and is a Research Professor at the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences and the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at the Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. His practice specialty areas include traumatic brain injury and psychopathology, and he is a contracted neuropsychologist-provider for the NFL Concussion Settlement (BAP and MAF programs).
